GREAT OPTIC
I throughly enjoy shooting with this attached to my 300BLK rifle. It holds zero despite some minor knocks and bangs while at the range or cleaning the rifle. Simply works as advertised. It’s really great having a red-dot alternative for eyes with astigmatism, for a while I was genuinely considering going back to iron sights since my vision is sharp, but very sensitive to bright points of light. In fact, I am in the market for another one, and I am really hoping Primary Arms makes these in Flat Dark Ea
EXCELLENT VALUE, GREAT PRISM
Very clear, good field of view and excellent eye relief.
GREAT OPTICS/ TERRIBLE SCREWS
The optic itself is super clear. I wish the screws were a little stronger. I was mounting it with my wheeler fat wrench to an American defense mount with the spacer it initially came with. I set it to approximately 27 pounds and went to tighten it and both screws stripped out at the head before I could even torque it down till it clicks on the wrench. I’m hoping the little extra loctite I put on it will hold it in place. it seems fairly solid as is so I’m not terribly concerned. I’ll buy another and just take the screws to the local nut and bolt shop like i have on other optics and get american screws in that size that don’t strip as easy. I’ve also got the slx version and it holds zero very well and is also super clear.
BEST FAST OPTIC I HAVE EVER USED
I am blown away with how clear this optic is with or without illumination. The eye relief is truly infinite. It is incredibly fast on target, about as fast as a shotgun bead. Outstanding glass. I am very impressed with all the mounting options in the box.
GOOD 1X
The GLX 1x has a great eye relief and field of view. I have it mounted on my 14.5 for home defense and target shooting. I have diopter set so that when I use both eyes or one that I have the same capabilities as my aimpoint red dot. The field of view on my Aimpoint M4s is so much tighter than this optic that its more appealing to me. One big point to make is that for home defense or utilizing a SureFire PRO light indoors that the reticle on this optic does not wash out. The red dot on my aimpoints wash out and will take a bit to locate the dot. If seconds count then I guess its a good point. I really like this optic for the reasons I have listed. I hope that it is as robust as prism scopes are said to be.
