The Tangent Theta 3-15×50 LRH MOA belongs to the company’s Long Range Hunter series and combines a 3-15x magnification range with a first focal plane LRH MOA reticle.

The Tangent Theta 3-15×50 LRH MOA provides magnification from 3x to 15x.

At 3x, the scope offers a wider field of view. Meanwhile, increasing magnification toward 15x provides a closer view of smaller details.

Tangent Theta lists the field of view at approximately 7.3 degrees, or 12.8 meters at 100 meters, on 3x. At 15x, that narrows to approximately 1.6 degrees, or 2.8 meters at 100 meters.

LRH MOA First Focal Plane Reticle

The LRH MOA reticle sits in the first focal plane.

Therefore, the reticle changes apparent size together with the target image as magnification changes.

This allows the reticle subtensions to maintain the same relationship with the viewed image throughout the magnification range. Dealer documentation for the TT315LRH specifically identifies the LRH MOA configuration as an illuminated FFP reticle.

The LRH MOA reticle gives this version an MOA-based measurement system.

The overall eyepiece housing diameter listed by Armament Technology is approximately 45mm.

The Long Range Hunter includes side-adjustable parallax.

The manufacturer’s specifications list an exit pupil of approximately 11.5mm at 3x and 3.5mm at 15x.

As magnification increases, the exit pupil becomes smaller.

This is normal for a variable-power optic and reflects the relationship between objective diameter and magnification.

Locking Rapid-Adjust Diopter

The scope includes a locking rapid-adjust diopter.

The diopter allows the eyepiece to be adjusted to the user’s eyesight so the reticle appears sharp.
